Restructuring assumes the implementation of a prior organizational diagnosis which becomes later the basis upon which the decision to proceed with the restructuring is taken. Therefore, restructuring opens up a new future for companies which lead to tough measures likely to put an end to entitlements that are penalizing them. Restructuring is a challenging task because it balances the implementation of seemingly conflicting processes. Human factor is critical to restructuring.
